Babur Tea & Chai Masala

Our brisk, refreshing Lakatoora tea comes from one of the first tea gardens outside China, in Sylhet. This province of Bangladesh is on the other side of the border from the Indian state of Assam. Drink it black, with milk, or made as masala chai with our Chai Masala spice blend.

Masala chai is a universal drink across the subcontinent, made by simmering tea, water, milk, sugar and spices all together. Especially welcome in cold, wet or windy weather but delicious year-round. Use about 1/8 teaspoon of ground chai masala to make two mugs of tea.
